Instructions for using abbot from source don't work #82

I have followed the instructions in the README and then tried these:

but I can't make it work. I have briefly discussed the issue on IRC, but no luck. My setup:

linux x86 rvm, ruby-1.9.2-p180

Turns out it (probably) was my computer problem. I went through the instructions on a new vm especially provisioned for this purpose and it worked at the first time.

BTW: on my computer the bin directory does not get created, but I can run the newer sc-server with

 bundle exec sc-server
