Thanks for this. I'll go ahead and merge now, but because travis is currently broken, it may take me a day or two to get this released on PyPI.

Sorry for the delay on this @haavardw setting up the CI took longer than expected. I thought I was going to just fix the travis integration, but I ended up migrating to GitHub Actions instead.

The fix is now deployed to PyPI in version 0.3.1
