Hi! Thanks for the PR.

Since users may have created a dependency on this unfortunate typo could we mark the incorrect version as deprecated? May be best to define the current function as obsolete using define-obsolete-function-alias. Then in a later version we can remove it completely.

Feel free to change the "when" to something like "v0.8.4" or whatever you feel is best!
