Roger has turned on google analytics - how does this work and what data can be generated? Need to consider load on server - how often to run, peak times etc

By end of Semester 1 - produce stats in excel format so LS/HY can tweak as required By end of Semester 2 - a system to deliver reading lists stats in readable format - populate against a table and consider 'reading lists stats' page. Add to code base

Useful stats to include:

o RLs per Unit o Usage per Unit o Usage per List (raw and weighted per no of students) o Units with RLs o Units without RLs o On Campus usage o Off Campus usage

• Ideally, we want to be able to see in an easy format for staff and lecturers: o Usage per unit/list o Who has a list/who hasn't got a list (by tutor and by unit if possible) o Breakdown of off- and on-campus access to lists

all should be possible but need to consider weight on server if asking for usage across all units - individual unit usage already available but not at top level - RE 27/02/13

RE worked on stats, x3 reports available plus google analytics - HY to look at.RE to set to run weekly - need to re-look at this after summer as currently on demand.
