Hi, I'm trying to reproduce this issue. Will you DM me on discord so we can discuss this further?
Hi, There isn't much more information I can give you about this issue, to be honest. My crops grew normally, I'm not using any mods that touch my crops directly. Longer Days yes, but that shouldn't matter as far as I can tell. I had large sections devoted entirely to pumpkins, watered by iridium sprinklers. When I did get a giant crop, it showed up as "Unknown Resource Clump 0" when I tried walking into the tile (it blocked me of course), as well as under the resource clumps category. Chopping it with an axe gave me pumpkins as expected. I have been trying to get other giant crops to see if I can reproduce the issue with things other than pumpkins, but no luck as of yet. I was, and still am, using the stable release of Stardew Access that I nabbed in November.
So, I tried reproducing this on the latest Stardew Access version however I was unable to do so. I believe it's fixed. I would recommend grabbing the latest test version of Stardew Access from the Playability server. Hopefully that issue should go away. Let us know. :)
I grabbed stardew-access 1.6.0-beta.6.6 to test. Assuming that's the latest as of this post. The issue still persists though, and I can now confirm that it does not just apply to giant pumpkins. I even removed all mods but for the essentials in case one of those was somehow tweaking it.
My test method, since waiting for a natural crop takes too long:
After loading the game and leaving my farmhouse on a new day, I type each of these into the console:
debug spreaddirt
debug spreadseeds 474
debug water
debug growcrops 15
The seed ID 474 is cauliflower since it's currently spring for me. You can replace with the seed ID for melon, pumpkin or powdermelon if you are in a different season (list_items
I just got my first giant crop, pumpkins. However, the game shows this when I try walking into the crop space: Unknown Resource Clump 0 Seeing it under resource clumps shows the same thing. I am not sure if this is displayed for every giant crop type as I have not seen any others as of yet, but I would assume it is a safe bet.
