can't seem to preconfigure firefox profile with extensions

I've added a few firefox extensions under extensions (see https://github.com/tetrabiodistributed/tetra-workspace-image/blob/configure-firefox-extensions/playbook.yaml#L498), but none of them seem to appear as installed extensions in firefox setting
