Sorting the results by path sometimes does nothing. #484

To be specific, trying to sort the results by path does nothing when the number of results are between around 10 and 1000. I am uncertain if there are any other conditions for now.

This is on version 2.1.1.1340.

it does not really 'do nothing', but the performance when sorting is beyond bad...
