I am on windows 10 and zotero version is 5.0.97-beta.63+035aac30f

HI, Could you also send me the json file from extracting that reference with multiple images? Thanks

I am trying to extract 15-20 images and this time it extracted 2 only image

That error in the console should be from a different plugin (breadcrumbs maybe?)

The problem was related to the fact that Obsidian had not indexed the new image created. Tinkering with the embed (e.g. remove and put back the !) will make Obsidian check again and recognise the file.
