Smooth transition when dimming #26

Thanks a lot for this great extension, it really improved my ability to focus on a single window and removed a lot of distractions from the others.

If possible, I'd like to suggest adding a smooth transition when dimming/lighting up windows, as I find the immediate changes to be a little abrupt and somewhat painful to repeatedly look at the "flash" from the active window.

A nice example of a similar transition is the one when switching to and from the Dark style in Gnome.

Maybe it could be configured with a duration for the transition to occur, with "zero" meaning the changes take place immediately, as currently implemented.

Thanks for your feedback. I think it should be possible to implement a time-based transition in the shader with a smoothing function. I will look into it.
