Why is the project not open source? #862

We would like to contribute to and use obsninja, but I'm really not sure why this file is minified and encrypted?

I understand that you don't want people to sell it, but for that the copyright header would suffice.

Any reason for the minified/unreadable version of this file?

Hi Max, thank you for the interest in the project.

I get asked about choices I've made with this project quite a bit, and sometimes to the point of harassment by developers, so I'm not overly keen to have an in-depth discussion about it. There is however an open-issue on this Github about this topic already, along with some reasons for my choices there.

I definitely would like to fully open this project at some point, and I'm actively continuing to work towards having the comfort to do just that. If there are special needs however, please contact me and I will try to accommodate. I'm ultimately just trying to help people as best I can, and this is how I'm able to move forward with that.
