Background

To align with standard practices in cloud storage solutions and enhance user experience, this roadmap item proposes a unified dashboard for managing accounts across multiple regions (US1, EU1, AP1). This unified approach aims to simplify account management, reduce user friction, and elevate customer satisfaction.

Problem Statement

Storj operates on a decentralized global network of nodes, emphasizing its position as a truly global solution. Despite this global emphasis, users currently maintain separate accounts and credentials for each Satellite (US1, EU1, and AP1). This fragmentation not only confuses customers but also seems counterintuitive given Storj's global network. Juggling multiple accounts increases the risk of errors and inefficiencies, hindering users from seamlessly accessing their data across the entire network.

Justification

Storj's decentralized global network should provide users with a seamless experience, irrespective of regions. As Storj's user base expands, offering a streamlined and consistent user experience becomes imperative. Introducing this unified dashboard aligns with Storj's global approach and market expectations, simplifying account management and making Storj more attractive to both current and potential customers.

Expected Impact

A unified dashboard with a singular account login for all regions will provide a more intuitive user experience. This enhancement will facilitate easier management of resources and accounts across regions.

Acceptance Criteria
