Ghost folders like in Cryptee #3679

Yesterday by accident I came across Cryptee. For persons that have special private needs and that need to protect themselves even if somehow their login is known they offer "Ghost folders". These folders can be made invisble (after entering a password?). Only if you type exactly their name again into an input field they appear again. So if anybody does not know that a certain folder exists it even does not matter, if the person has "free" access to an individuals account. The folder only appears, if you type it's exact name again. I think this is a very clever, simple and yet very powerful concept. I cannot judge, if this is hard to implement, but I guess this should not take much time as you already have folders, password entry for vault notes etc. properly working. Even as a father I could for example keep my diary in such a folder, but the rest of Notesnook would be available to my whole family, for example.

Hey this feature is already on our roadmap https://notesnook.com/roadmap/ and we plan to add it in near future. Thanks for bringing it up again.

Thank you very much for this link!

That looks indeed very promising and will prevent me from stealing your precious time with double feature requests ;-)

I am happy that you also plan a full data export as I need to be absolutely sure that I can extract all the work I put into Notesnook one day, if for any reason development should cease!

I did not read so much in the roadmap about photos. I would be very happy, if Notesnook could also properly handle photos like in a gallery grid with tags etc. as today we live in a visual world and for me it is always a dealbraker to be forced to separate notes and photos/videos (...and also contacts). Cryptee seems to be the first end-to-end service on that way, but otherwise lacks many of your features.

By the way I have never seen any kind of note-taking software that allows "inline notes" for videos, I mean a video is "embedded" or bookmarked on a page / note, I can watch it with a time-slider, set timestamps and for each position of the time-slider I can take notes on the (referenced) screenshots. A lot of my personal research and knowledge-gathering nowadays is via videos so it is highly reasonable to not separate them from notes taking and knowledge-management. Also this could visually be arranged like tiles / grid or so. I hope you get the idea. This is of course not something short-term as more basic stuff on your roadmap is more important, but could for sure be a USP for you in "visual end-2-end note taking and video annotation".

Best regards and keep up the good work!
