fairly similar to PR 172 but a bit simpler. Tried to keep the style similar to https://github.com/studioimaginaire/phue/blob/master/examples/random_colors.py

Dude I stumbled on your commit, working on a similar issue with LIFX bulbs and loved your implementation. I don't know if this will get committed here, but I appreciate the code
