I think "how to do inheritance" is worth a post on the mailing list. I'm a bit surprised that we we need an helper (gaia seems to be doing without one for example). It would good to know which alternatives you researched and see if anyone have comments.

Thanks Daniel! I have tried another option, after asking at #gaia IRC channel, and after reading another article from Mozilla. Posted all on the mailing list.
