Port/upstream patches from Songbird #114

Songbird has some extensive patches against gst-plugins-bad in particular 
making the dshowdecwrapper much more reliable.

You can grab a copy of their repo/changes with

git svn clone 
http://publicsvn.songbirdnest.com/vendor-binaries/trunk/windows-i686-msvc8/gst-p

Why isn't David Schleef pushing these changes upstream? He's well known to the 
gst devs. At any rate, it's not a bug in our build (but it may include bugs 
from upstream) -- we pull everything from upstream with minor changes here and 
there. If you put his changes into a patch, we'd be glad to consider it and 
apply it. The sooner the better so it'll make our next release.
