After Plex has released their Web Client some days ago a feature rich web solution exists with lots of advantages.
Plex has a standalone Media Server app that can be installed on any platform as well as NAS devices.
Streaming of content to the Clients is implemented with live transcoding on the Plex Media Server.
Clients are available for Samsung,LG and Sony TVs as well as Roku and Google TV.
Multiple clients can be controlled from the webapp.
If it is possible to integrate the Home Automation section in one week into the Web Client maybe we can do this first and then continue with the other milestones.
