Addresses issue #117.

Do you mind fleshing out the following sentence?

"The strengths of the scientific Python environment have been enumerated in a number of other papers (cite cite cite). These include (add strengths here)."

@wafels @mbobra could both of you check the packages that I cite in the bulleted list to make sure I'm using the best examples please?
