Found that the direct melpa install method is extremely fragile.

So I'm saving a last-good version for something to go back to, as today, 2022-04-16, such direct melpa install caused huge failures:

lsp-mode failed to compile with lo~~~ng logs of errors.
go-mode somehow caused my setting to be invalid, my nice 2-space tabs now become ugly 8-space standard, and I have no time to look into it...
