Port Pyscripter for multiplatform.
Mainly for Linux.

I highly recommend this request.

Given that PyScripter is written in Delphi, which is currently Windows specific
(though a Linux version of Delphi has been in the pipeline "forever") it's
unlikely that this will be possible without rewriting PyScripter in a different
language.

Having said that, a Linux port would be very welcome!

I think that the first step is to 'port' the project to FreePascal/Lazarus
http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/ which is very close to Delphi and Linux
compatible.
The main problem is the 3rd part libraries.

It is not so close unfortunately. If you have a moderate project like this it
is a big headache to port it (our team is specializing in porting things btw).
It requires A LOT of efforts to port.

I believe that it is better if authors will continue on improving what they
have, adding features and fixing bugs.

And somebody from linux platform would take this headache on his own on behalf
of the linux.

I'd love to see this but I have to agree with Romano
