I am trying to print clear layers using clear PETG, but i can not get the voids between lines inside the solid fill to disappear.
Describe the solution you'd like
see the image below, i would like to be able to increase the flow modifiers beyond 100%, so the line spacing in the upper section would be reduced without the line width being reduced or a switch to turn off these modifiers to allow direct input of line width AND spacing without one edit canceling out the other
Describe how it would work
Currently i can change line width and it auto corrects the spacing and vice versa .. i'd like to change both parameters without influencing the other ... i understand the spacing is calculated by the modifiers in the overlap section but my issue is the infill having voids while top and bottom layer have serious overextrusion artifacts
alternatively i would like to be able to input more than 100% in the overlap setting as an probably easier way to autocalculate the values in the above section (i prefere this option over the manual seetting, but maybe add both options by setting the flow to 0 disabling the auto calculation)
Describe alternatives you've considered
i tried to set top and bottom to 80% and set the filament to 110% to try balance it out but the overextrusion still destroyes the finish, since the lines are smaller but the nozzle is still the same size, also the overextrusion causes ridges in the infill which let the head chatter .... being able to keep the flow on a "normal" level but increasing the overlap beyond 100% would help meld together the lines better without voids and not casuing excessive overextrusion because the line width squeezes beyond the nozzle
infill ironing feature is not a solution it would takes AGES longer to print when the encroachment of the lines is the first problem as it looks like (to me at least)
