Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start GG
2. Use GG gadget with default network access
3. switch to VPN (or different network, which requires different proxy)
4. Switch global desktop proxy settings
5. Use GG gadget with default network access

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
GG should use new proxy from global desktop proxy preferences

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.10.5 (api version 5.8.0.0) on ubuntu jaunty

Please provide any additional information below.

Please try ggl 0.11.0 with soup-xml-http-request module, which might support
changing
proxy on the fly.

You need libsoup and libsoup-gnome >= 2.26.1 to enable soup-xml-http-request
module.
Using command "ggl-gtk -xhr soup" to load this module forcely.
