Hi,

Summary: yesterday evening I updated QRAlarm to the newest version 1.5.10, this morning the alarm wouldn't shut off as the barcode I was using wasn't being recognized. I had to restart the phone.

Details: Up until version 1.5.8 I was able to use EAN 13 codes to disable the alarm, however as of 1.5.10 these are no longer recognized. Neither does the app recognize the currently configured code from my water bottle, nor can I set a new EAN 13 code as they aren't being recognized.

If I uninstall the app and then downgrade to 1.5.8 via F-Droid store the codes in question are immediately recognized, when I update again to 1.5.10 they no longer work.

I also tried deactivating the "Accept all codes" menu entry and then activate it again, sadly that didn't change anything.

Operating system: LineageOS 20-20231110.

It seems like this was an issue with my phone. After trying 1.5.9 and seeing that that worked I took a look at the changes between 1.5.9 and 1.5.10 and noticed that there were no changes in relation to barcode recognition so I installed 1.5.10 again and it worked fine. Not sure what caused the issue. I had tried up- and downgrading the app a few times yesterday and while it always recognized QR codes the 1.5.10 version from F-Droid never recognized barcodes. When I gave it another try today it worked fine. Weird.
