As for the presentation, each meetup has two long talk slots, one being 30 and the other being 45 mins, but these can be adjusted as needed.

The presentation's format is really up to the presenter, can be either interactive, or code showcasing, or slideshow-based. You can see some examples on the SydPHP group's Youtube channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNQgHIahe-cyXvpgAys-d4A

We are also happy to help out with advice, and with reviewing the presentation material.

Please don't hesitate to ask further questions as needed.

The time slot for a lightning talk is 5 mins (hard limit), and the agenda for the meetup can be seen here: https://www.meetup.com/SydPHP/events/258724632/

The talks are not yet populated, the page will be updated and the meetup will be announced once we have all the topics and timeslots locked in.

@mjames1234 I will definitely reach out as soon as the final schedule is locked, my best guess right now is the 8:20-8:25pm slot, but this may change slightly depending on the other speakers.

@mjames1234 it would be on the 28th March, the time slot would be 8:15pm - 8:20pm but it can be 10 mins as well if there is enough content.

Hi @mjames1234 ,

SydPHP meetups are always on the last Thursday of the month.

We won't have one in April because the 25th is Anzac Day, also the previous weekend is Easter, people will focus on resting instead of coming to meetups :smile:

No worries if you can't make it, someone else will pick up this or another topic then.
