Jamplayer on Google Chrome not working correctly #336

Forum Report:

Google Chrome appears to have a bug, with the Jamplayer.

(This bug probably affects Safari, since both browsers use Webkit) 

To reproduce the problem
- Try playing any song with Google Chrome.

The problem
- The current song title/artist does not update in player's upper section
- The current song title is not reflected by the purple highlighted background

The details
- I am running Google Chrome version 8.0.552.215 (from the stable branch)

The good news
- This bug is not present in any version of Mozilla Firefox I tested (version 
3.6 and 4)
