[UX Research] FTUE - Research and create user journey map

Here's the first draft of the FTUE journey map. The goal of this exercise is to identify some ways for us to help users have great first time user experience. Please feel free to provide your feedback in the slide deck (the journey map is on slide 3). Thank you!

This is pretty cool. I like this approach. I wonder if the rightmost two columns (explore and deploy first integration) are actually the same? IOW, you explore the iPaaS by walking through the examples.

+1, it would be great to give them a sample project to try out if they want and re-assure them that they won't break anything. Might have to consider whether we deploy it or not since it will take up resource utilization, or if its just a sample project that doesn't actually deploy.

Yes. I think I've already marked it for Sprint 15. Just associated this with syndesisio/syndesis-project#68.

We'd have to make it easy for users to then delete the sample projects once they are done working with it.

Thats a good point Rachel. Once they create that first sample integration, do you think it'd be best to have them delete it the same way they would any other integration? (Via integration details page or integration list page)

We could always utilize a popup if they are still in the "getting started" mode to show the user how to delete an integration.

@sjcox-rh - That sounds good to me. I think deleting should be part of the guided tour, maybe for the end of the tour part that involves the sample project (something like: "At any moment, you can delete this project simply by clicking here.") type of thing, as long as it doesn't isolate the action and kind of force them to think that they have to do that to proceed. But yeah it would be using the same delete actions that exist for other integrations, or we could confuse them I think.
