Sudden input error from Wii Classic Controller Pro #616

Describe your system:
~ Operating System: Mac OSX Mavericks 10.9.2
 ~ 64 Bit processor (duh)
 ~ Mupen64Plus version: Mupen64plus 2.0 (latest)
~ Plugins used: Tested with both Glide and Rice versions which come in the Mac bundle

For visual artifacts, give:
 ~ N/A
 ~ N/A

Describe the problem:
Currently playing Zelda no Densetsu: Mujura no Kamen. I have run into a trouble with feedback from my controller.
My Wii Classic Controller Pro is mapped correctly (I have played through approximately 3/4 of the game with no issues). Suddenly, after finishing a dialogue in Ikana canyon (composer brother Sharp after lifting his curse), Mupen64plus behaves as though it is constantly receiving input from the joystick causing Link to walk forward in game. I am using Wjoy 0.7.1 Wiimote driver for Mac OSX.
I have tried the following methods to fix the problem to no avail:
    1. Restart Mupen64plus
    2. Restart Wjoy
    3. Restart Terminal
    4. Un-pair Wiimote via Bluetooth system preferences, then re-pair
    5. Restart computer

None of the above attempts have worked, I checked to see if it was dependent on
that particular save-state, the problem occurs now even for new games. For the
time being I'm a little stumped. I will keep fiddling with it to try and find a
fix, but in the meantime, if anyone has some experience fixing this issue I'm
all ears.

[UPDATE]
So this is pretty odd...

I installed a second copy of Mupen64plus in a separate folder and started up
the same rom file: This fixed the problem temporarily (new game no longer has
the issue described above)! I then loaded up my save state and the problem
immediately came back!

I find this interesting because it seems that something about that particular
sequence in the game breaks whatever Mupen64plus uses to communicate with the
Bluetooth controller drivers!

I'll work my way back to that point in the game and make a save BEFORE that
cutscene, and then I'll go through the cutscene with the rice video plugin to
see if the same thing occurs, I'll also try it without a controller to see if
the same thing occurs. So there should be an update a little later, or tomorrow
depending on how fast I can do this hahahahaha.

[UPDATE 2]
This is going to take longer than I thought, it's looking like this MIGHT
actually be due to some damage in the electrical contacts within the Wiimote
itself (despite it being brand new -_-), I need to run to the hardware store to
pick up a triwing driver so I can take apart the Wiimote and clean it with
rubbing alcohol.

After further testing, it has become apparent that this is indeed a hardware
issue, not a software issue.

Fixed
