NetworkSelector does not associate with 3945abg card #72

What version of iwi are you using?

Link marked "PROSet/Wireless 3945a/b/g OS X 10.5 SVN latest" on iwidarwin
main page. Downloaded 6/19/08.

Problem:
The network selector program lists open networks but doesn't associate.
Prints 'trying to associate' and then immediately prints out main menu
again. Using 1) to turn the card on and off doesn't seem to have an
effect. My wireless card light also does not turn on.

Hardware:
Dell XPS 1330 with iAtkos 2.0 Mac OS X 10.5.2/Vista dual boot. 3945 card
installed and working under Vista.

Attached:
1) output of network selector
2) output of syslog
3) output of dmesg
4) output of ioreg
5) output of kextstat

Forgot to add that the card doesn't show up as a new ethernet interface in the
GUI
Network Configuration.

Also I can program C++/C and will try to help if you give me a list of things
to do
on my computer. The log files just show the function handleWorkUnit() (line
1862) or
w/e its called in compatibility.cpp being called over and over. I don't know
why the
driver itself isn't posting anything to the system log.

The network I was trying to connect to had a MAC access list but not encrypted
in any
way.

Hi, I have the same problem as yours, same OS version, but I can see the "en3"
network, (en1 and en2 are parallels desktop virtual networks).

This network is associated with my real WIFI MAC ADDRESS. (Lol, I recognize it,
because I keep using my mac address to hack wep wifi with wifiway live cd).

But concerning networkselector... same problem.
see this picture for details :

I'll send files when I get them. I just learned how to get it and only vista
can get
internet (!!).

The Intel 3945abg driver is not ready. I get so many kernel panics. I just
can't wait till it comes out finalized.

I have the driver compiling (34 warnings, 22 errors). I have the 3945 detecting
access points as well. Just waiting on getting a little insight to continue
development. Waiting to get whatever info I can as to the state of the
driver... I'm
going to implement options to specify ssid in the Info.plist so the card will
associate on load.
