Summary

A network of devices, i.e. routers, which use mid-range to long-range wifi/other radio communication channels to create a mesh; this mesh is a serverless network using the miner devices, similar to the Helium device. Miner devices generate $RevolutionCoin, which is pegged to the US dollar and is backed by actual dollars invested in the revolution by the NGOs and individual investors out of Iran who want to support the revolution

Helium is an open-source blockchain network designed to power Internet of Things (IoT) devices with wireless connectivity. Helium technology enables communication between the devices, while the system sends data across the network nodes. The nodes that compose the network are known as Hotspots in the Helium system.

Idea:

• Based on Helium Crypto and Open (free) network idea, we build devices that generate crypto-coins proportionate to the amount of data they communicate with other peers. This data is partially used to maintain the network connectivity and performance adjustments (the crypto part), but also it creates a network which could distribute internet or support a (likely asynchronous) communication platform
  • Internet could be provided from isolated/remote Starlink units (or Starlink-compatible phones, which are under development)
  • Internet from Starlink or other sources will be streamed into the mesh using a few routers, and after that point, it passes through the mesh network to provide a secure, anonymous, and free-of-censorship ethernet/internet network
• We can also create temporary hotpots (which could be found and destroyed but are replaceable) to provide a network in the riskier areas
• Those who help distribute free access will be compensated, so the stream of money is generated for freedom fighters in Iran, and to promote the use of the network miners/hotspot devices
• The crypto is pegged to USD and could be transformed to $USTD, $LBC, etc.; and then converted to money or could be used directly among people as a low-risk, no residue/fingerprint trading.
• The value of the crypto is stable because it is supported by those who want to inject money into the revolution. This creates an anonymous democratic, low-risk money transformation channel. In essence, funds from outside Iran is used to generate money for those who fight for freedom and also provide internet for everyone

Not yet, you told me a bit about it and the mesh and then I thought let's use the coin idea to

1. Promote the mesh
2. Create a democratic way to support the freedom fighters.

I think we need creative idea to break the "visibility" issue. Not my area of expertise but I think that's eaither this or probably nothing (except for Elon's second generation satellites which could connect to specific phones directly and due to mobility has lower risk of getting detected.)

I saw the other discussion. The use case is not the same. I have some other reservations that I don't think this is the right issue for it.
