Status of MMD Tools in Avatar Toolkit
When we refer to MMD Tools, we're not talking about the MMD Tools that CATS uses. We're developing our own purpose-built system that's completely separate from the Blender plugin MMD Tools. Our goal is to avoid relying on third-party plugins. As this is a new system, we need extensive feedback from users to improve it, as it's still far from perfect.
MMD Importer
The MMD Importer is still not 100% functional and has some issues. For now, to test MMD-related tools, please use CATS to import your model.
MMD Options
We have implemented MMD Options for users to test. These options replace the CATS "Fix Model" function and are available as individual functions in Avatar Toolkit.
Future Plans
Once we have completed the importer, we will focus on refining these tools.
