datatype of from and to attributes on locus

Currently from and to attributes on locus have a datatype of teidata.word which means that it can't contain spaces, punctuation etc - which many of our page/foliation labels do. Should we change the datatype or change our practice on recording labels for pages etc. - given that these appear as quite prominently in the digital library platforms. Or is there another way of linking locuses to pages?

Change datatype to something more permissive to avoid problems in GS.
