Not sure the computer platform being asked for, but I would like this feature. I currently use the linux app.
@vsego - the app on the phone can froward to multiple channels by selecting messages, click "forward", then click "select" located in the top right of the ios app - at this point, the channels become multi-select.

I was aiming at Linux, but all desktop clients could use this.

I did expect it to exist on iOS, given that Android has it too, but it's nice to have a confirmation. Thank you.
Does it work now? You can select messages, press Forward, right click on a recipient and choose "Select", then select the remaining recipients.
Yes, it does. Version 4.1.1. Thank you!
I am happy with it, but it is not very intuitive and it might be missed by many users. Consider adding a button, maybe left of the search box, with an icon like this: and a mouse-over text "Select multiple recipients".
Alternative to "right click -> select" which is more intuitive is "ctrl + click". This is a pattern that should be familiar to desktop users.
In my opinion, this alternative is not available as of 2024-11 and should be implemented.

To be clear, this does not work on Linux (specifically pop) flatpak installed version.
Is your feature request related to a problem?
Apologies if this was requested before. I searched for it, but I couldn't find it.
When forwarding messages to multiple channels, I need to select them and forward them for each channel separately. For example, to forward 3 messages to 5 channels:
Forwarding one message is a bit simpler (right-click, "Forward", pick ONE recipient, repeat), but still cumbersome.
Describe the solution you'd like
The ability to select multiple channels in the "Choose recipient..." box, possibly by clicking on their avatars or having checkboxes next to them or by some other convenient method.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I tried to long-click, right-click,... I found no way to forward to multiple channels.
Additional context
On the phone (Android, at least), I can do a long click on the first recipient and then select multiple ones.
