I've tested this module successfully on multiple servers running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Would you be so kind to add Debian as option in the params file?

I've merged your request and add the supported platform to metadata and increase version to 0.5.0, the new version is no available via the forge
