Can the EMPTY commad mess things up? #49

The "EMPTY object" command can cause a bit of confusion. I don't know of anything game-breaking, but here are two examples of where it causes odd results:

>LOOK
McGinty Salvage
You are in the McGinty Salvage office, a concern whose main business is
salvaging wrecks. The place is a mess, and the floor is littered with chewed-on
cigar stubs. To the north lies the Wharf Road. You can't help feeling
uncomfortable here.
An envelope with some writing on it sits on the desk.
McGinty is here, smoking his cigar.

>LOOK IN DESK
An envelope with some writing on it sits on the desk.

>TAKE ENVELOPE
McGinty squeals angrily. "Keep your hands off of my private papers!"

>EMPTY DESK
The desk is now empty.

>LOOK IN DESK
There's nothing on the desk.

(You can also "PUSH ENVELOPE OFF DESK" for the same result.)

>LOOK
Crew's Quarters, on the bunk
You are below deck in the crew's quarters. Narrow, uncomfortable bunks line the
bulkheads, and you note the similarity between this area and a sardine can.
Sleeping here is necessary but uninviting. A ladder leads up and out to the fore
deck.

Well, it's not wrong... but it is an unusual way of getting out of the bed.
