the background of patterned interline segments looks odd in satellite mode – is there anything to reasonable handle this without a ton of effort?

resultmap interline segments are not working

i ended up removing full line rendering altogether to get rid of the necessary segment background issue. it was easier than expected.

i also implemented this for result maps.
