First of all, thanks for getting this awesome project started! I just started playing around with it today, and I'm also still relatively new to Lexical. But I plan on using your lib to implement my collaborative markdown editor, which is already working in principle. I haven't tested everything yet, but the basic export to markdown of some example doc just worked immediately. Nice!
If I can I want to help this project and contribute what I can. I think as I'm using it I may stumble over a few things that can be extended in the future, or maybe I'll encounter some bugs.
For starters I wanted to contribute a very basic starting point for the README that shows the basic usage. At least for me personally, when I'm looking for libraries to use, I usually prefer those that are well documented and have good examples. This will of course still have to be extended quite a bit more in the future. As I'm figuring out how to do more things I may do that myself :)
