AdHoc Support for non-CM6 #2

Hello,

Is it possible to add AdHoc support? I use android-wifi-tether at my Milestone,
and wish to connect my SmartQ T7 tablet with it. Android however, has no
support on the interface for AdHoc connection, but the hardware seems to have
this support.

Thank you.

Adhoc is only supported in CyanogenMod 6.0.0 or newer. Other platforms require
rooting. However I don't have a milestone so I can't test it, but if you want
I'll make an experimental version that interfaces directly with wpa_supplicant
hoping it works.

I'd love to be able to add ad-hoc support so that I can connect to my phone
from my Archos 70 tablet. Please let me know if I can help you in any way.
