[Update] Instructions for generating core dumps / stacktraces #682

Users can report a segfault, but then often struggle to generate a core dump, and sometimes don't have binaries installed with DEBUG symbols to enable useful stack traces.

Would be good if we have more detailed instructions how to do this on various platforms, including which of our binaries are built with debug symbols on.
