It can connect, but when I try to enter the mouse on the Ipad screen, the
device reboots in safe mode.

I too can connect. The mouse appears in the top left corner for an instant,
then my iPhone 5 crashes into SafeMode. Perhaps this is a problem with the
mouse support package, not iSynergyClient.

I'll try to give a more in depth analysis of what I am seeing.
Server:
Windows 7 64-bit = V1.4.15
Client:
iPhone 4s 7.0.4 = V0.9-2
Procedure:
1. Connect client device to server device
2. Move mouse to the client device
Outcome:
Device resprang in Safe Mode
Server disconnected from client
App icon displays "On" badge
Attached is the Debug2 log of the event.

Having the crashing issue as well on ios 7

Server: Windows 64 bit v1.4.16
Client: iPad Mini Retina 7.0.6 with iSynergyClient v0.8.20-1
Client connects, mouse leaves screen and goes to the client. Mouse not visible
on iPad and keyboard not working. However, I don't get a crash. I have heard
that you will likely get crashes with the v0.9-2.

I was trying to get this working with an iPad Air on iOs 7.0.4. As reported
above, both the iSynergy client (0.9-2) app and the Synergy server app (running
on Windows 7 32bit) show that the mouse is connected. The pointer disappears
on the edge of the server screen as expected but no pointer appears on the
iPad.
Unlike the others, I am not experiencing any crashes.

iSynergy uses MouseSupport. I'll update MouseSupport as part of the BTC Mouse &
Trackpad update. It will then work as well or as bad as on iOS 6.

Excellent! Thank you all for your hard work...this really is an awesome piece
of software. Look forward to trying it on ios

Is MouseSupport something that needs to be downloaded from a separate repo, or
is that just the BTC Keyboard and Mouse support through BigBoss?

FYI, you can use isynergyclient over usb (iphone/ipad connected to PC by usb)
with s2c over ssh using bitvise. If anyone's interested I could do a writeup

I just wish isynergyclient was able to connect automatically, like the desktop
client does.
Is there a terminal command to initiate a connection request? If not, could
one be added? I could make that work.

Or, a version of isynergy client that just attempts to connect (using main
app's settings), and if fails just exits. NO UI required. I could make that
work as well.

So the mouse now appears to be fully supported, but it is not recognizing the
keyboard at all, along with there being a dead zone at the bottom of the phone
just above the dock where the mouse will not go down any further.
Thanks again for all of your hard work on making this an awesome app.

It seems it's just not formatted for the taller iphone 5 screen. FullForce on
Cydia will fix it but that's a bandaid. It needs taller screen support,
keyboard support, a new iOS7 icon, and a CC Toggle. Who's up to the task?

Mouse was working, but after installing BTC mouse, iSynergyClient no longer
works, no mouse function at all. I tried uninstalling BTC Mouse, but still
synergy is broken. Matthias: Please Help!

Luca have you turned off encryption in the settings, if you don't, it won't
work.

I'd like to point out another user experience that might be helpful.
I've been using isynergyclient_0.9-2_rotation+keyboard on an iPhone 4s (iOS
6.1.2) for a while now and it works great
There have been a few times in the past where I've switched screens and the
cursor gets stuck in the top left of the screen. Respringing, rebooting,
restarting the server doesn't free the cursor for the corner. Only a full
uninstall and reinstall have shown to be effective.
It's sort of a Kiss of Death for the app. Very strange how it happens out of
the blue on a screen switch, and completely breaks the functionality.
For reference, I am running Synergy 1.4.17 x64 on Win 7, but it's happened on
older versions as well
