Hello ! I've seen on project website to write about features and bugs here so, here are mine comments:

I've read about emperor and installed it immediately to see the result. Program is very good but I'd like to suggest some features, bugs.

bugs: when enter to the up catalog (.. folder) the selection goes to the top of list not to children catalog in which you were.

features: some shortcuts would be nice, i.e.

alt+home -> goes to user home folder alt+m -> choose the drive (alt+l works well) alt+. (dot) to show/hide hidden files *ctrl+f -> new connection

*maybe F2 -> opens console in current directory (usefull)

add icons to drives on the top of catalog list (i just notice that there is such a dropdown) - catalog which you're in and some icon would be nice add second view mode (short view like in totalcommander) add ctrl+f5 to pack folder, file + options to configure packagers add menu to change privileges to files, catalog

that's all what just came into my mind, sorry for being so... picky ;)

thanks for great commander, looking forward to it!

Thanks for your feedback. I'll have to have a good think about default shortcuts, and, eventually, how to customize them, at some point (when more critical bugs are ironed out and I can find the time).

There's always the question of which shortcuts to borrow from where - one the one hand, we want consistency with the GNOME desktop, and on the other hand, consistency with other orthodox FMs. Right now, F2 is Rename file, as in Nautilus. Opening a terminal is a useful feature that will be needed. Show/hide hidden files is Ctrl+H, as in Nautilus again.
