As discussed in #524, this issue is broken out…

We should probably deploy from a tag built in the test env rather than rebuild. Is there any easy way to keep this in sync

Copying from the previous issue

Since the packages can be built in Github now since #454 this might change how this works.

This article mentions some of this and seems relevant but feels like it would take some trial and error. Though one suggestion there seems like it was classified as a bug and removed.

I wonder if this type of process would be worth automating it in the Github release action? Maybe can look at it next release.
