MainContainerTabPanel unnecessarily big #194

Something must be telling it a specific width size but can't find what.

Any clue?

The mainPanel is set to a large witdth to make the table (particluarly 
description field) in the Monitoring tool readable.

This is problematic for displaying the messaging tool in it's sthin vertical 
form in Metafora.

So, when monitoring is turned off, the width is now set to 500, whwn it is on, 
1000.  This is set in VisualAnalyser.run() and committed with r432
