Paste operation shuts down app #100

The paste operation in Tomboy shuts the app down. This means that upon cutting text cut from Tomboy notes into an email or 3rd party document, the paste will not work and the app will shut down. This started happening this past year. Am using Gentoo OS. We thought that the issue was in the Mono libraries, just a guess based on Mono issues.

This past week an updated that we ran include updates to the Mono libraries. First updates in a year? Unfortunately, the updates did not change the problem - notes from Tomboy cannot be pasted into another application and when attempted, the app shuts down.

Is this a problem that others have experience. Is there a solution? Thank-you.

Johnnieo, there seems little interest in maintaining traditional Tomboy. It has a large stack of dependencies that have become very difficult to maintain, each platform with its own particular problems. My guess is you might be able to solve your problem by rolling back your version of Mono but I cannot really recommend that.

I've been using Tomboy for a few years now and have never seen this problem (on Linux Mint)
