The first redesign is just an overhaul for the desktop styling as well as some minor improvements to the mobile styling.
One of the major things I did was removing the full-sized banners for some of the pages like the home page and about page. There's no need to display irrelevant images that take up the entire screen space with all the relevant information hidden down below. So those pages should look a lot cleaner.
Other additions include adding in a resume link, adding in a projects page for my coding work (finally), and finally getting rid of the blog. The blog was mostly hard-written into the website's HTML pages, which makes them really hard to maintain and manipulate should I decide to do some styling changes or to add/remove blog posts. I'm currently using Medium until I find a better solution.
With this redesign, I also went ahead and fixed some CSS bugs on mobile that made the mobile site look more awkward and a second-rate project rather than a primary focus. It still needs a hamburger menu that's a little well made than CSS tricks/cheats.
Overall, I still need to work on the typography of the website as well as updating any social media links or the actual photo and video pages. This redesign is a good start to revamping my website which is showing it's age design and content wise.
