gconf settings ignored #337

Cause:
I had an Ubunti install with filesys stored in a disk image thru Ubuntu
Wubi. Converted this to a normal install.

Before formatting and partitioning I tarred my home dir and etc, and did a
dpkg --get-selections > selections.txt. Also backed sources.list in etc.

Installed linux, updated apt-get sources, and dpkg --set-selections <
selections.txt. Then did a dselect.

Absolutely everthing reinstalled and updated, and is using my backed up
configs. Except awn. I had to reinstall awn manually. I checked the gconf
settings and that all came with my home dir backup. But awn refuses to use
those settings.

I believe the awn I installed is a newer version. Do newer versions use
different config files, reference applets differently, etc? I really liked
the way I had it set up before!
