support for LCCS services #26

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
We are all currently using this application with the free service provided by
Adobe. However using this service is only for developers and cannot be used in
production environments.

It would be great if instructions/support could be provided so that we could
use the alternative LCCS services (commercial) provided by Adobe.

I believe LCCS is a higher level abstraction and doesn't give direct access to
NetStream, etc. I suspect if you need to you LCCS, then using flash-videoio
wouldn't be a right approach because both frameworks will get in the way of
each other. I believe developing video box for LCCS should come with their
samples...

On the other hand, if you have FMS hosting which supports rtmp/rtmfp (e.g., you
own FMS 4.5? or using amazonec2 hosting) then you should be able to connect by
just changing the URL I think. I found
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashmediaserver/amazonec2/ as a relevant link for
FMS on EC2.

Let me know if you know different about LCCS, i.e., does LCCS allow direct
access to NetConnection, NetStream, Camera, Microphone and Video objects from
ActionScript/MXML?
