updated a bunch of trips, not back to the way they were #29

I spent a few hours last week updating a bunch of trips that were poorly entered by the user "fivecreeks". Not is looks like they have all be reverted to what they were before.

Here is an example. I cleaned this up a bunch along with about 7 other trips.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the nightly connection to the old site?

Can you explain?

Is there any way to get that work back? It was quite a bit of work.

The trips I updated are: 224 223 214 204 191 188 187 186

Yeah, it's probably the nightly backup, damn. I have turned that off. This just means that when we move the mobile apps over we will have to copy over any user added trailheads or photos at once. No big deal.

Sadly I did not have the version history turned on for trips for some reason. I have enabled that now.

I also didn't have the database backup plan setup to save nightly DB backups so I don't think there is any way to get your work back. Sorry about that, my bad all around! I have configured the database backup plan to save backups for 1 month, so in the future we can always restore from a nightly backup if anything like this happens again.

Apologies, jmoe

Bummer! It happens.

Can you explain to me exactly what we have set up. So anything that is added via the mobile app doesn't show up on the new site until we hook up the mobile to the new site?

But any work that is added directly to the website or via Bay Nature is live on the new site? Is that correct?

Any idea on timing for the mobile app to get hooked up?

Thanks

Yeah, got it right.

Right now the mobile apps are the only thing talking to the old platform server. So anything people add from the apps will only appear on the old server until we move the apps over to the new server.

No idea on the timing of the mobile app. Plate is pretty full right now, but we could probably get it into a milestone late December or early January.
