Add Zimride to all Trailheads and use new integration from Zac

jmoe commented 11 years ago

Hey Guys,

So as far as being able to add ridesharing for all your trailheads and destinations, it should work to just use our search page (http://www.zimride.com/search) instead of the custom transit and trails page we created for you (http://www.zimride.com/ride/add?event_page_id=939&Transit-and-Trails=true)

All the query string parameters including lat/lng should work. For lat/lng, you would use starting point (s_lat,s_lng) and ending point (e_lat,e_lng).

http://www.zimride.com/search?utm_source=ptnr&utm_medium=tt&utm_campaign=web&utm_content=&s=&e=&date=01%2F16%2F2013&s_name=&s_full_text=&s_error_code=&s_address=&s_city=&s_state=&s_zip=&s_country=&s_lat=&s_lng=&s_location_key=&s_user_lat=&s_user_lng=&s_user_country=&e_name=&e_full_text=&e_error_code=&e_address=&e_city=&e_state=&e_zip=&e_country=&e_lat=&e_lng=&e_location_key=&e_user_lat=&e_user_lng=&e_user_country=

Let me know any questions about this.

I will send a separate email to intro you to our enterprise account folks.

Thanks, Zac

Ryan and Jereme - Thanks a lot! Looking forward to seeing this integration and I continue to be very stoked about our partnership (apologies for being so strapped for time). Please let me know if you run into any issues while testing and I will advocate to get them resolved.

Also, one more technical piece for link tracking. Please include the following in your query string: utm_source=ptnr utm_medium=tt utm_campaign=web utm_content=[insert trailhead/location id]

This way we will be able to track which trailheads are most popular for ridesharing ,and how often people are using the ridesharing option.

I am happy to see you have a meeting with Lisa which should help to move the Enterprise potential partnership forward.

All the best, Zac
