configuration / "Sync - Instant Actions" #516

What does "Sync - Instant Actions" do ?

In fact, is there any documentation that I could read, instead of having to ask what every configuration item does?

There was apparently a page in the wiki at one point that was intended to fill that precise role, but all the links that are supposed to lead to it have been pointing to a non-existent URL instead for as long as I can remember.

The Trakt team really needs to get on this, especially with all the issues the Scrobbler has been experiencing lately thanks to Plex killing plug-in support; it's hard to justify continuing to pay for Trakt VIP membership when the Scrobbler for one of its major platforms doesn't even have configuration documentation, and has only been scrobbling a subset of my viewing activity for months now (it worked perfectly for over a year before that, and I have changed nothing since then)
