Transmission Fails at metadata on Windows #776

Hi,

I am using Transmission on Windows, and when I try to download any torrent via magnet it starts to download the metadata, goes to 50%, stops and restart to download the metadata from zero.

I tried everything in firewalls and antivirus softwares, even messed with the porting of the router, to no avail. I installed bittorrent and it works fine, so it does not seem to me a problem with my pc.

Any ideas or workout arounds?

There are a few magnet link problems in official transmission.

Is this still a problem in 4.0.0-beta.1 or higher? The metadata code has been rewritten for Transmission 4.
