We need to make sure future maintainers can update Maven Central.

OK, just want to report some status on this- the credentials needed are now all secrets attached this repo that will be used in the actions. However, the Sonatype central portal does not currently support delegating namespaces to other users. That's a promised feature of their new portal. We'll need to check back on this to make sure that actually happens.
